THE STORY OF SAKONIS

You’ll find us situated in the heart of 'Little India'; bustling Ealing Road is full of shops selling everything from household necessities to the latest sari fashions and the most exotic fresh fruit and vegetables.

The Sakonis brand started off as just that - one of the first fruit and veg market stalls and slowly grew to an internationally recognised brand representing homemade, fresh tasty vegetarian meals, snacks and sweets.

This family owned and run business was driven by quality vegetarian food, fresh ingredients, tested recipes and a friendly face to greet the customers. Based on a reputation of honest, delicious food and pioneering flavours, the restaurant grew from a snack bar to serving a fully- fledged a la carte menu, an extensive lunch and dinner buffet, grab & go snack bar and a savoury snack (farsan) shop. The restaurant on Ealing Road is the very same place from where we humbly began.
